Dear friends, I’ve decided—yes, it’s the middle of the night—to take a break from this newsletter for a while, at least. If you’re a subscriber, for which my deepest thanks, you won’t be charged any more. I suspect that I will creep back here every once in a while to share an article or a thought—I will still be writing at The Nation—but I don’t think I’m going to do the weekly post anymore.
